Usage and data
Can I use the app without logging in?
Yes. FishTrail does not require login. Spots, catches, gear and achievements can be saved locally.
Will my fishing spots be public?
No. Spots are private by default and precise coordinates are not public by default.
Why does the app need location permission?
Location permission is used to add spots, log catches and read current weather. The app does not request background location.
How do I delete local data?
Open Me - Settings in the app and choose to delete all local data. Deleted local records cannot be recovered unless you exported a backup beforehand.
Fishing Pro
What does Fishing Pro include?
Fishing Pro unlocks unlimited records, advanced stats, smart setups and data export. The free version still supports basic logging.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Manage or cancel it in iPhone Apple ID subscription settings. Subscriptions and refunds are handled by Apple.
