Warranty Notes Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Warranty Notes iOS app provided by Beijing Yuanhuo Network Technology Co., Ltd. Warranty Notes helps record household items, purchase information, warranty terms, receipt photos, repair records and maintenance reminders.
1. Data scope
Warranty Notes does not require account registration and does not upload item names, categories, brands, models, purchase dates, prices, warranty terms, purchase channels, notes, receipt photos, repair records, maintenance reminders or exported JSON to developer servers by default. Users enter or select this content actively, and it is stored on the device by default.
2. Local storage and deletion
The app uses local device storage for item archives, photos, repair records, reminder settings and export state. Deleting the app, clearing local data or using an in-app clear entry may make local records and photos unrecoverable.
3. Photos and permissions
Receipts, warranty cards, manuals, nameplates and before/after repair photos are added by the user through the system photo picker. Warranty Notes does not need full photo library access, contacts, location, calendars, microphone or camera permissions for these records.
4. Local notifications
When users enable maintenance or warranty expiry reminders, the app requests local notification permission and iOS schedules the reminder at the selected time. Notifications may stop if system notifications are disabled or the reminder is deleted.
5. Export and sharing
Warranty Notes supports user-initiated JSON export and single item summaries. After export or sharing, users choose where to save or send files, text and photos. The developer does not automatically receive this content.
6. Usage boundaries
Warranty Notes is not affiliated with any brand, retailer, platform or service provider. Warranty status and reminders are calculated from user-entered information only. Actual warranty rights, repair outcomes and legal responsibilities depend on purchase proof, brand policies, seller terms and applicable law.
